Hundreds say goodbye to 'doting father', 'astounding photographer'

Mario Aguis, the photographer who tragically lost his life in Wied iz-Zurrieq a few days ago, was given his final send off today in San Bastjan Church Qormi.
The Church was packed with Aguis's friends and family, who all attended to say goodbye to their much loved friend, relative and colleague. It was held in Qormi, as the photographer's studios are also stationed there and much of the locality knew him due to this.
Aguis, 57, who is from Sliema, fell off a cliff last Thursday when he slipped while taking some wedding photos of a young couple.
Magistrate Consuelo Scerri Herrera is holding an inquiry.
