The first of the twice yearly Children Cinema Day in 2012, organised by KRS Film Distributors with the collaboration of the cinema exhibitors in Malta and Gozo, is scheduled to be held on Saturday 10th March.

The 20 films selected for the 23rd edition of this activity, feature a variety of genres ranging from animation fantasy, action comedies, fantasy adventures, comedies, war history drama, adventure family drama  and action thrillers.  All the films carry either a 'PG' or 'U' classification, with the exception of one, which is rated '12'.

Reduced prices of admission of Eur 2.50 for children and Euro 4 for accompanying adults will be charged at all shows starting at 9.00am and running until 7pm.

There will be a slight increase in the price of 3D films for both children and adults.

Film shows at the 2-screen Citadel Cinema in Gozo will be at 4.00 and 6.00pm.
